Dr. Spyridon Daskalakis is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University specializing in wireless electronics for IoT. His work focuses on ultra-low-power embedded systems, batteryless sensors, and efficient wireless communication technologies that enable smarter and more sustainable IoT solutions.
Dr. Konstantinos Kossenas holds a PhD in communication systems and specializes in simulation, modelling, and testing for end-to-end IoT communication. His journey into innovation began during a period of unemployment, when night shifts restocking supermarket shelves made him realize how outdated and passive traditional shelving systems were. With a focus on transforming engineering insight into practical, scalable solutions, he is committed to developing technologies that modernize everyday operations and create real business value.
